On November 23, a delegation from the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, led by Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – visited and inspected the implementation progress of Hagimex’s Integrated Project for Fruit & Vegetable Processing, Packaging Production, and Logistics in Lac Thuy District.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Quach Tat Liem – Provincial Party Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – along with leaders of various departments, agencies, and representatives of the local authorities.

Acknowledging Progress and Strategic Direction

During the working session, the delegation was briefed on the project’s scale, objectives, and current progress. Chairman Tran Duy Dong highly appreciated Hagimex’s proactive preparation and emphasized the project’s significance in:

• Promoting the development of the region’s agricultural processing industry

• Creating new employment opportunities for local workers

• Enhancing economic value and strengthening logistics capacity in the area

He also requested that provincial departments and local authorities coordinate more closely to resolve remaining administrative and land clearance challenges, ensuring the project stays on schedule.

Hagimex’s Commitment to Strong Implementation

Representatives of Hagimex expressed their gratitude for the provincial leaders’ support and affirmed the company’s commitment to:

• Prioritizing resources in capital, manpower, and machinery

• Accelerating the construction of key project components

• Strictly complying with regulations on environmental protection, labor safety, and construction quality

The project is expected to make a meaningful contribution to Vietnam’s agricultural value chain and expand Hagimex’s global supply network.
