Agricultural product exports are forecast to continue to increase in the last months of the year

In the first six months of the year, the country's agricultural exports increased by 24.4% to 15.76 billion USD; seafood recovered at a slower rate, reaching 4.36 billion USD, up 4.9%. Representatives from the Vietnam Trade Office in Canada and some European countries stated that many of Vietnam's export markets continue to increase new requirements for international trade, establish more dense market barriers, increase the trend of trade protection, green transformation, and focus on small groups of health protection products. As a result, Vietnamese suppliers must recognize and adapt production in accordance with this trend in order to capitalize on chances to grow exports not only in the near future, but also in the long run.
